Review

Another pretty good album by PJ Harvey, we are having a good run lately, good for us... it won't last that long, don't worry. Meanwhile we can appreciate albums by people with real talent like PJ.

My main problem with this album is that I preferred her older albums as they had a less polished production which really fit her vocals and lyrics. Her vocals and lyrics are still great, don't get me wrong, but the sound is a bit too shiny.

The album is full of great tracks, however, and even a collaboration with Thom Yorke of Radiohead. And really when you are as good as PJ my problems with production quality are really a bit of nitpicking. So it's a great album and you should listen to it.
